VESC HUD

A dedicated wireless dashboard for VESC-based motor controllers using the Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-LCD-3.49.

Status: tested with a FOCBOX Unity running VESC firmware 7.0.

Safety-first design

The HUD reads live limits and displays unknown states honestly. It never silently applies a “safe default” when a Bluetooth link reconnects—a behavior that could surprise a rider in motion.
