I picked up a Scotch chair off Facebook Marketplace with a simple plan: bring it into the house. Instead, I ended up strapping it to an electric skateboard and riding it home.
What started as a joke turned into something else the moment I gave it throttle. Slow at first. Then faster. Then faster still — until it was obvious this thing needed to actually get built out, not just ridden as a bit.
I've only had it since July 29th and I'm already at 150 miles. It's absurd amounts of fun, and every friend and neighbor who's hopped on wants one of their own.
This page will track the build as it evolves — more power, better mounting, and whatever else it needs to keep surviving the miles I'm putting on it.
